The 2017 IoT Conference and Awards is coming! Now in our second year, the competition is maturing, from a pure “challenge and awards” model into a broader event, including both awards and a conference – promoting knowledge and best practice sharing for developers and buyers in the connected infrastructure and Internet of things space.
IoT technology is transforming the worlds of business, retail, heavy industry, and our personal lives. Research from Gartner has estimated that there will be over 6.4 billion connected things in use in 2016, increasing to around 20.8 billion by 2020. Business will need to adapt their practices on a mass scale to accommodate the deluge of connected solutions. Furthermore, they will have a plethora of exciting solutions to choose from. Questions for the CTO to consider include: Is my business IoT ready? What security measures will be required to cope with the demands this hyper-connected world? What are the challenges of implementing IoT solutions in practice? Each entry will be charged R250 (ex VAT) per solution and per category.
The 2017 IoT Conference and Awards will address these concerns and more, bringing together the business and development sides of the machine-to-machine and Internet of things coin.
